Bill Gates terms competition with Google as ‘Fun’

Mr. Bill Gates, co-founder of Microsoft Corporation, which recently introduced its own Search Engine Portal known as “Bing”, has described its competition with Google as “Fun Competition”.

Software giant Microsoft recently had launced its own Search Engine Portal “Bing”, to take on “Google”, but at the same time sort of complimented them describing “Google has done a great job”.

Microsoft has been trying for many years, with Windows Live Search, to make its presence felt on the search and to take on Google the world renowned leader of Search Engines.

When Mr. Bill Gates was quizzed on the future of search, he replied humorously that “The future of search is Bing….”

Speaking at the Nasscom event, Mr. Bill Gates said “In the next 1-3 years search should be dramatically better. Microsoft has hired some great people to do innovative work to make it more competitive.

“When you are a distant two, you have to try harder. Who knows we can make it better and faster than anybody else.”
