Tips To Write and Earn A $1000 Per Month Blog

July 18, 2008

First of all, sorry guys for not updating my blog for some while now as I was on a bit tight schedule.

Coming back to my post, recently, my SEO colleague and my friends wanted to know if it is possible to gain more than $1000 from a blog per month. I have been making some research on this topic and have tried to find the hidden features to achieve this. The technique used is simple with no exceptional skills required but its not that easy too.

So below is the solution to earn $1000 dollars :

1) Don’t neglect on making articles. If you really want to earn money by blogging, spend a sufficient amount of your time into your prepared blogs everyday. I would suggest at least 2 posts per day so that your blog is active all the time. If for some reason, you were unable to write a post, mention an apologetic sentence stating it to all your readers, so that you gain a certain level of respect from them.

2) Prepare BIG articles containing ORIGINAL content. Well after all a infectious content is the main reason which will attract readers to your blog. So maintain a good balance in terms of your big articles.

3) Don’t be too greedy. Just keep in mind, Quality is always better than Quantity. Keep active only one to two blogs instead of 10 tiny blogs. Do not fill your blog with unnecessary and irrelevant adverts. Keep the blog decent having a good look and feel and colors to attract and importantly hold on to readers.

4) Offer subscriptions to the readers visiting your blog. After it grows to 200 or more, add feedcount widget to your blog. Many readers subscribe by watching the feedcount on your blog. This is often stated as a balanced assessment sheet of blogs.

5) Bookmark your blog regularly in popular bookmarking website to increase your friends list based that your posts or articles are more visible.

6) Always reply to the comments from your blog site so that you create a good rapo with readers for them to visit your blog site again.

7) Always visit forums (that are popular) regularly. Also, if possible make lenses in Squidoo and hubs in hubpages because it helps you to promote your blog which in return helps you in earning money at the same time.

8) Finally, (from my past experience) I would suggest to write reader-centric. Read various blogs sites of similar topics as yours and check the articles or posts which are the most popular ones. Then translate them into your own simple user-friendly words with good vocabulary and narration.

That’s it then, the above tips are to my best of my knowledge and experience, but the results  may vary as per your implementation and dedication of work you have put in.

All the best in earning by marketing blogs and share with me about your experience in using the above tips. Also feel free to write to me regarding any issue on the above article.

Free List of DoFollow Blog Services are mentioned here

July 3, 2008

Well below i have mentioned a unique list of “do-follow” blog services that helped me in promoting my websites. What to do with them? Its very simple. Just create a free blog in the mentioned website. Write a very professional keyword rich content article that reflects your website along with keyword loaded backlinks. But also take account of not commiting mistakes of copying another blogs content or being too spammy in regards to keyword placement. Assign a important keyword as the name for your blog, like say ‘chemical-fertilizer-industry.blogspot.com’. Write new posts in your blog and promote & market your blog site’s posted pages and also individual categories by using inserting strategic keywords to each post made. Also if possible link bak to its page.

I hope this information helped you understand blog services. Given below are some of the “do-follow” blogging services :

What is the difference between Do-Follow and No-Follow blogs?

July 2, 2008

Many people have a doubt regarding this question about a do-follow and no-follow blog. Well in my past research i looked into this matter and got some interesting information about them.

Generally a new blogger will make as many blogs as possible as it genuinely helps in SERPs and attracts a reasonable amount of traffic towards the website or blog. But not each and every blogs are crawled by search engines.

There are 2 types of blogs. One having a “Do-Follow” in their tags and the other obviously as i have explained earlier a “No-Follow” in their pages.

The “Do-Follow” blogs generally are blogs that are crawled by search engines like Google, Yahoo, etc. The below theory will help you to understand it better.

In the early days of blogging, many unwanted spammers were abusing the commenting pages of these blogs with their yuck links, and indirectly trying to promote their sites. To combat such an issue, Google started implementing the “No-Follow” tags in its index. Furthermore, this “No-Follow” tag was soon grasped by WordPress.com (one of the most user-friendly free blogging website). The people at wordpress starting implementing the same strategy while running their scripts in their commenting page. Basically what it means is that the URL’s posted in the commenting pages are not considered by search engines like Google.com and also these urls are not approved by google in their page rank theory. The thinking behind this was this step would resist spammers from posting yucky commenting URLs on blogs.

Was it worth It ?? Well, as per the spamming (which was over 7000) on one of my blog is concerned, it reflects that this did not seem to work as my blog commenting page are “No-Followed”.

What was worth it is this Askimet SPAM plug-in in wordpress.

But unfortunately, the “no follow” tag did have one unforeen result. Genuine commentors that had placed legitimate comments on various blogs were also not permited from doing this because they were not receiving any “link juice” from their commenting, either.

There is known to be a movement from various blogging websites and also search engines to allow the “Do-Follow” tags only and restraining the “No-Follow” tags to encourage people to post comments on the blogs. In wordpress, there is a option to turn off the “No-Follow” tag by a given plugin.

By advertising and promoting your blog as a “Do-Follow” tagged blog, you will surely grab the attention of others posters to leave their comments on your blog.

So according to me, its well advised to promote your blog site on “Do-Follow” tagged blogs as it generally extracts more traffic and encourages others to leave comments on them.

SEO Techniques/Tips that helped me and will help a newbie in future – Nitesh Pednekar

July 1, 2008

Through out my SEO research in my organisation, I was lucky to find new and upcoming solutions for ranking higher in search engines.

Around 2 years ago, I was the one in my organization, who found about a very creative and innovative idea of preparing blogs for boosting our website’s traffic. At first when i told my idea to my directors they were not too enthralled by me thinking. But (as i am a well respected professional in terms of my work done) they allowed me to got ahead with this attempt of making as many blogs as possible. The one blog i liked in terms of ranking SERP’s as well as design is WordPress. I started my blog http://bharatbook.wordpress.com and soon started getting more website traffic through it. As its a e-commerce website so in response we started getting a 1 enquiry about our products (online reports) regularly. SEO Techniques and Tips

July 1, 2008

Wait for some time as i bring a good insider on SEO techniques and blogs used recently….STAY TUNED….

My Intro along with my skills like SEO, Website Revamp, etc etc.

July 1, 2008

Hello readers,

This is my first post in my personal blog. My name is Nitesh S. Pednekar. I have completed my Diploma in Computer Technology from a reputed college Shreeram Poytechnic in Airoli, Navi Mumbai. I have been working as a Search Engine Optimizer cum Website Controller in a reputed market research firm called Bharat Book Bureau (http://www.bharatbook.com), who are one of the worlds largest aggregators for online databases and research reports.

I have been working in this reputed organization since 3 years. In this gone by years, I presume i have proven myself to be an asset for my organization and have progressed step-by-step as an individual as well as a co-operative employee. I have excelled in almost all of my assigned projects and always fulfilled the objectives of my directors. I have been optimizing and creating / modifying various pages of the been mentioned website.

I am also managing more websites projects with jobs assigned as for developing and maintaining the portals/websites along with the analysis of the websites traffic and keywords ranking in SEO. The websites names are mentioned below :

http://www.globalknowledgeresearch.com
http://www.iihsindia.com
http://www.aarkstore.com

My theory of a SEO consultant is to assist websites to improve them attain higher ranking positions at the time of a search being done in major engines like Google.com, Yahoo, MSN, etc. An SEO must see his website as a Google Spider will look at it. Yes, a Spider of Google (named GoogleBot) goes through the webpage and rates every other page on the internet and priorities all the pages on their page rank, keyword density and many other issues.

The objectives that I perform as an Search Engine Optimizer (SEO) are Pay-per-click, Email marketing, XML feed submissions, Website traffic analysis, Targetted keyword research.

In addition to the above mentioned, the below stuff is also perfomed by me :

1. Providing individual creation of meta tags, keywords tags.
2. Design suggestions to make better SEO friendly pages to be crawled.
3. Providing creation of description tags and suitable alt tags.
4. Web directory listing – Domestic directories and International directories (Manually).
5. Top listing in major search engines like Google, Yahoo, etc. and marketing of various section of portal.
6. Submission in high profile directory, DMOZ and Indirect Link Popularity.
7. Complete website designing and development robot friendly. (In short Revamping).
8. Content writing and research as per the topics applicated.
9. B2B B2C portal development and marketing
10. Assured top 10 – 20 ranking placement in major search engines like Google, Yahoo search engine ranking service.
11. Complete Search Engine Optimization of the concerned website.
12. Web traffic analysis.
13. Domain name registration for entry level clients.
14. Products and Software Marketing on the most successful medium, Internet.
15. Link exchange popularity and Pay-Per-Click Services.
16. Online meta tags and content optimization and relatively easy crawling sitemap for clients portal/website.
17. FREE SEO Solution for .org, .edu, .gov (Non-profit Organization)

Suggesting the necessary coding tips for website programmers and designers helpful for listing the website on first page of popular search engines is also one of my strong points.  If it’s a small code change, I am well equiped to do it myself as I have quite a reasonable knowledge on coding languages such as HTML and ASP. I also keep a check on my assigned websites loading time all over the world and its uptime in various countries via Traceroute.

I review each and every page of my website carefully and make a geniune effort not to stuff too many keywords in a single webpage as it affects rankings. After all, the content is the making of a webpage in search engines. I have also worked on Google Adwords, Yahoo Ads, online ads, free blogs, RSS feed submission, free articles, link builder.
